Co-op Responsibilities

Besides playing an active part in the life of the school, parents do contribute their time in order to maintain and operate the school. The list below explains these responsibilities:

Helping in your child's class - Depending which class your child is enrolled in, you will be expected to co-op on average 1-2 times per month for each child enrolled. This will involve assisting the teacher for the duration of the class. Also, parents are responsible for bringing a healthy snack for the class; this is done on a rotating basis.

Each family is expected to hold a job at the school. Obviously, talents and personal preferences will be taken into account. The level of involvement required varies widely between jobs.

Every family is required to sign up for 2 cleaning sessions per year. Each typically lasts 2.5 hours.
